The Foundation’s mission is to empower youth within the Greater Washington region by making strategic investments in supporting community-based programs that use sports to promote education to effect social change.
With a focus on making an impact in the Greater Washington community, the Greater Washington Sports Alliance Foundation (GWSAF) developed the Greater Washington Sports Collaborative. Through the Sports Collaborative, it is our intention to help grow robust and vibrant youth and sports focused non-profits that will widen and deepen social impact within our community.
